Breast Augmentation Surgery Walnut Creek Dr. Ramin Behmand
Patients who are good candidates for breast augmentations are those who have either small breasts in the age after puberty or have had what we call involution micromastia, meaning loss of breast volume either with weight loss or after childbirth and breast feeding. If there is not any significant breast droop after breast feeding then it could be addressed with breast augmentation alone. But if there is significant breast droop, whether related to weight loss or having had a child and breastfeeding, then a breast lift may be necessary. The combination of breast lift and breast augmentation together can bring not only the breasts up but also increase the volume of the breast so that the breasts are more perky and have a better overall natural appearance.
