My name is Margaret. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Behmand’s for two years now. Experience has been fantastic. I’m a repeat customer. I probably come between one and two times a month so I’m very pleased with his service and the things I’ve had done here. The front office staff is very friendly. I’m greeted promptly. I have usually a scheduled appointment time. That time is usually met within five minutes. I’m brought back to one of the exam rooms here and wait just a couple minutes for Dr. Behmand to come in and whatever procedure is going to be done we perform. We go over it, what the expectations are, pain level, just an all around good experience. It’s always very comfortable.

My name is Laurie and my experience with Dr. Behmand has been nothing but positive. I am at a point in my life where I needed some changes in my physical being and I was recommended to him by my daughter, who is a nurse. And he gave me everything I wanted in a very positive way. I wanted to look natural. I didn’t want to look like I had any surgery and I absolutely got what I wanted. Besides that he’s a delightful person and his staff is fabulous. I met with other doctors, several other doctors, thinking that that was the way to do it and once I met with Dr. Behmand I knew that I’d come home, I’d met the person that I was very comfortable with, very compatible. I was referred to Dr. Behmand by a family member who had some work done and she had such fabulous results. And so I had three children and when I hit forties I decided that it was time to go back to looking the way Kelly used to look before children. And so I came and met with Chris, and Dr. Behmand, and you know, I loved Dr. Behmand as soon as I met him, and I didn’t feel like I needed a second opinion. I had already seen the results from his work and I was very comfortable when I talked with him, and my husband came and met him, and so there was no reason for me to get a second opinion. I was really, really pleased with the results and I just saw the before and after pictures. I knew I felt better about myself after the surgery and my husband loved it. And then when I saw the before pictures I didn’t realize how bad it was. Then I looked at the before pictures, and the after pictures, and it was just phenomenal.

There are many patients who may benefit from breast reduction surgery. A person who is a good candidate for breast reduction surgery often has shoulder grooving from a heavy bra, neck and shoulder pain from the breasts hanging on the wrong trajectory, and skin rash under her breasts as a result of excessive sweating in that area. These patients have often seen chiropractors, spine surgeons, and been through lengthy physical therapy sessions that have not brought about any relief. Patients who are good candidates for breast augmentations are those who have either small breasts in the age after puberty or have had what we call involution micromastia, meaning loss of breast volume either with weight loss or after childbirth and breast feeding. If there is not any significant breast droop after breast feeding then it could be addressed with breast augmentation alone. But if there is significant breast droop, whether related to weight loss or having had a child and breastfeeding, then a breast lift may be necessary. The combination of breast lift and breast augmentation together can bring not only the breasts up but also increase the volume of the breast so that the breasts are more perky and have a better overall natural appearance.

Over the past ten to fifteen years liposuction has transformed to being simply removing fat from parts of the body to body contouring. We now use liposuction in a much finer way to reshape areas where it is difficult to lose fatty tissue and shape that area in an ideal form. Liposuction is not a means of weight loss. The best candidates for liposuction are those who generally have a fit shape and good tone of their skin and would benefit from decreasing the fatty tissue in select areas such as the waist, the hips, outer thighs, inner thighs, even posterior thighs, or the back. Having a child is probably one of the most wonderful things that happens to most people and most mothers in our lives. But no one really wants to be reminded by looking at their body that they’ve had a child. The effects of having a child usually are separation of the stomach muscles and stretching of the skin with leaving stretch marks and excess fatty tissue of the stomach, usually below the belly button, but sometimes above the belly button as well. Exercise and being in shape generally does not help with improving post childbirth excess abdominal tissue. A tummy tuck is aimed at removing this excess tissue, tightening and re-approximating the stomach muscles such that the pre-pregnancy state is restored. Because of the extent of tissue that needs to be removed often after childbirth. The mini-tummy tuck procedure is often not a procedure for which many women who have had children are a candidate. A select few are candidates for it and would benefit from it. The remainder of the patients would benefit from a tummy tuck procedure, which can also be combined with liposuction to enhance the results and the type of waistline it can provide.
